Like many, I started painting just for fun and, almost without realizing it, ended up working in a miniature painting studio, before eventually embarking on my own adventure. This is how Witch’s Brushes was born: a professional painting studio where every model is treated with the same care, detail, and passion as if it were part of my own collection.

One of the things I enjoy most about commission work is hearing how people see their armies.

Sometimes it's not about following the official color scheme. It's about taking someone's vision and bringing it to life on the tabletop.

For this Frostheart Phoenix from Warhammer the Old World, the project was a special one from the start: the goal was to magnetize the seat to allow different strategic options and to move away from the traditional look of the model.

The idea was to create a gorgeous bird with natural brown plumage, while all of the Frostheart's magical essence would be concentrated in its wings and tail. Icy energy, crackling lightning, and frost spreading through the feathers, transforming them into a display of cold power and supernatural light.

Projects like this remind me that every army has its own story. My job is much more than painting miniatures, it is also helping turn stories into reality. And this is why I love it so much!

And honestly, this box is packed with cool stuff. As someone who’s completely obsessed with the detail and quality of their minis, I’m especially excited about this one. Between the exclusive miniatures, scenery, dice, beginner-friendly rules, and tutorial missions, it’s such a great way to dive straight into Infinity.

I’ve been away from the #painting desk for a little while after being sick, so opening this up genuinely got me excited to paint again. Can’t wait to start putting some colour on these beauties and show them off properly!

Witch’s Brushes returns!

It’s been some tough weeks. I’ve been away from social media, my brushes, and my usual workflow for almost two months due to health reasons. Even though hitting pause to focus on my recovery was exactly what I needed, I have missed you all so much.

Thankfully, today I can finally say I’m back—recovered and really excited to paint, create, and share with you all once again.

I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your patience, your understanding, and all the love you’ve sent my way recently. Every single message, email, and check-in meant the world to me and heats my heart more than you can imagine. Reading your words of support was a beautiful reminder of just how amazing this community is.

Now, it’s time to ease back into things, with the same passion and energy as always. For a little while, I will be working with slightly extended deadlines for commissions. I want to make sure I give every project the time and care it deserves, while also delivering my best to those who have been waiting so patiently these past weeks.
